Here's the thing about social media. Hein on it if you want to (ask about the etymology of "hein" as needed) but today it has yielded the following:

1. Photographs and an update about a beloved one who was seriously smashed up in a car wreck
2. Great moment of shared laughter with a teacher-friend off in grad. school
3. New info that my friend Michael has a secret rat phobia (shhh)
4. A chance to publicly ridicule myself for alphabetizing the repackaged vegetables in my freezer
5. "I AM NOT WAITING FOR YOU ANYMORE"
7. An opportunity display a questionable choice of attire
8. Tea with a kindred spirit.
9. New suggested music.

Not bad.
